Our services

We work with a range of funders - commercial investors, social impact investors and donors, including international development organisations. We also support companies working on the frontline of AgTech innovation, from start-ups to agri-businesses that are ready to embark on the digitisation journey.

Research services

Funders and AgTechs are often required to update their strategy development and programme design in response to increasing complexity of the rural and agricultural sector context, new and compounded global challenges. To inform such organisational effort, we offer a range of research services:

  • Market research, opportunity assessments and landscape analysis

  • Business modelling & feasibility studies

  • Human stories and case studies

  • Mapping out ecosystem context and its influence on business models viability of AgTech solutions, including its impact on business operations and product design.

The expertise of the [AgTech Network] team was vital for us to have a really good report, with the academic rigor that is required that we don’t... specialize in.

Knowledge products and communications

We produce knowledge products and communications materials that are technically credible and visually distinctive — informed by direct experience in agriculture and rural development, and designed to a standard that reflects the quality of the work behind them. We work within client brand guidelines while bringing our own creative direction to every product. We also design and build web platforms that communicate portfolio objectives and narrative, spotlight projects, and invite stakeholder engagement. We offer:

  • Fully designed reports and publications

  • Infographics and data visualisation

  • Photography and videography

  • Website design and development

  • Knowledge management and dissemination

Community building

For funders with a knowledge sharing agenda, in addition to conducting research and documenting best practice, we offer support in participatory knowledge sharing events:

  • Sharing knowledge and best practices in an engaging way, including through building communities of practice in selected focus areas

  • Capacity building through experiential learning journeys on the ground, where participants can learn from other service providers as well as farmers

  • Knowledge sharing event hosting and facilitation, both online and in person

How we work

We are selective about the projects and clients we take on. This isn't about being difficult to work with — it's about making sure that when we commit, we can deliver to the standard our clients deserve and our reputation depends on.

Every engagement is led by a partner and delivered by our team, end to end. Our clients get senior-level thinking throughout — not just at the kick-off call or the final presentation. The depth of that involvement varies depending on the complexity, strategic weight and visibility of the work, but it is always present. This is what makes our work different.

We work on a clearly defined scope basis. For fixed-term projects, we agree a Statement of Work upfront so that both sides are clear on what is being delivered, by when, and on what terms. Where scope isn't yet defined, we work on a day-rate basis under our standard terms. Either way, the structure is there to protect the quality of the work and the integrity of the relationship — for both sides.
